Meal Planning Week 3

Creating a meal plan is incredibly easy. Finding the time to blog about it is slightly more challenging. And remembering to take pictures of my dinners…nearly impossible! The food is just to darn tantalizing. I inhale it before I remember that a photograph would make these meal plans so much more interesting. I’m just too good a cook with too little self control. One of these weeks I’ll master it.

Here’s what’s going to be on our table this week!


  • Breakfast: Starbucks Flat White and a Slow Roasted Ham & Swiss breakfast sandwich
  • Lunch: Chef Salad with carrots, cucumber, turkey and hardboiled egg (and really any other leftover produce hanging out from last week).
  • Dinner: Leftover Sweet Potato and Quinoa Turkey Chili by


  • Breakfast: Pumpkin Pecan Breakfast Cookies
  • Lunch: More leftover chili!
  • Dinner: Chef Salad (yeah, really working our way through the leftovers this week)


  • Breakfast: Pumpkin Pecan Breakfast Cookies
  • Lunch: Turkey Sandwiches
  • Dinner: Roasted Chicken and Pesto Pasta


  • Breakfast: Cereal (Barbara’s Puffins)
  • Lunch: Leftover chicken and pesto pasta
  • Dinner: Enchilada Casserole by America’s Test Kitchen


  • Breakfast: PB Smoothie
  • Lunch: Leftover enchilada casserole
  • Dinner: Chana Masala from the Oh She Glows Cookbook


  • Breakfast: Oatmeal with Pecans and Maple Syrup
  • Lunch: Leftover chana masala
  • Dinner: Egg Scramble with onions, potatoes, turkey and pesto


  • Breakfast: Pumpkin Waffles – mix from Trader Joes
  • Lunch: Lunch date with Nick!!
  • Dinner: Leftovers from lunch or anything else that might be kicking around the fridge
